Veganuary is continuing across Birmingham, with scores turning to eco-friendly diets.

Plant-based diets are becoming all the rage in Birmingham and beyond, with the UK seeing scores of Britons switch.

The month-long vegan drive has coincided with a string of popular fast food stores and supermarkets launching items.

Vegan products have hit menus at McDonald's restaurants across the nation, as well as KFC, Greggs, Burger King and others.

Now, Iceland is getting in on the action - with vegan mayonnaise tubs in peri peri and garlic flavour.

The store has announced they are selling vegan mayonnaise tubs, and what's more, they come in incredible flavours too.

Customers can get their hands on the No Yolk products now, which include the Peri Peri Mayonnaise  and Garlic Mayonnaise.

Traditionally mayonnaise is created by blending a mixture of pasteurised egg yolk, vinegar, rapeseed oil, water, salt, sugar and lemon juice.

Iceland say their vegan mayo is made with almost exactly the same ingredients but is completely dairy-free, so much so that shoppers won’t be able to taste the difference.

Both products cost just £1.50, so they won't leave you out of pocket either.

It comes after Iceland launched a No Meat vegan range, including sausage rolls, ice-cream and chocolate puddings.
