Police College producing highly-skilled officers: MoI officials

Doha: A number of officials and directors of departments at the Ministry of Interior affirmed that the Police College, since its inception, has demonstrated its excellence in graduating high-quality officers who are able to protect the security, implement the law, and establish justice with enlightened security thought.

In press statements on the sidelines of the college’s celebration of the graduation of the third batch of candidates students yesterday, officials praised the great efforts made by the college to be among the best international colleges and academies as it has become a distinct security edifice.

The ceremony witnessed a review of students affiliated with the “officers of tomorrow” program launched by the college to consolidate authentic Islamic and Arab principles, deepening national identity and promoting noble values in the hearts of young people, as well as contributing to community service, developing leadership skills, enhancing students’ confidence, and training them in many athletic and military skills.

In this context, HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior and Commander of the Lekhwiya Force Major General Abdul Aziz bin Faisal Al-Thani expressed his happiness at the graduation of the third batch of students of the Police College to join their colleagues in the various security sectors in the country to support the performance of security tasks after they completed a 4-year study at the college, where they received the best police and legal sciences, military and sports training, and they have become highly qualified to work efficiently and competently, which represents a real addition to police work in the state.

HE the Director of Public Security Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi underscored that the Police College is a factory for strong men who can protect the security, implement the law and establish justice.

Al Khulaifi added that the high-level qualification made graduates of Qatar’s Police College modern officers fully aware of these crimes and ways to confront them.

Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Police College Major General Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Al Mal said that the Police College celebration of the third batch graduation is a dear occasion, as promising generations of the nation’s sons reaping the fruits of effort after years of serious study and hard training to obtain the honor to join work in the military and police fields.

The Assistant of Director of Public Security Major General Abdullah Mohammed Al Suwaidi explained that the Police College is taking confident steps in renewing the pledge and loyalty and providing the Ministry of Interior with qualified and promising young officers who have been taught the best and most important training courses according to the highest training standards used.

For his part, the Director of the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Interior Major General Engineer Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ansari said that the graduation ceremony of the third batch confirms its pioneering position among its counterparts, a position that, thanks to everyone’s efforts, was able to reach it in a short time, it became a beacon for police science, and an example to be emulated in its field of specialization.

Major General Al Ansari thanked the administrators of the college, including the board of trustees, departments, teaching, and training staff, for their efforts, wishing them success in their work.
In his turn, Head of National Command Center (NCC) Major-General Khalifa Abdullah Al Nuaimi congratulated the graduates and their families on the joining of these young cadres trained and qualified to work in the police field, who will practically join various aspects of work in the departments of the Ministry of Interior.

He expressed his happiness that these young graduates have come at this time in which all efforts and preparations are combined for securing the 2022 FIFA World Cup event, which represents a real boost to those preparations.
