DARLINGTON, S.C. (WPDE) — The Food Network is coming to Downtown Darlington!
Crews are set to be in town from Sunday to Tuesday to film The Great Food Truck Race, according to Darlington Public Information Officer Hunter Thomas.
Thomas said Tyler Florence with the Food Network would be in town on those three days.
He added that some of the nation's top chefs will be serving up their best dishes and selling them to residents and visitors.

The event on Sunday takes place from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the Public Square in Downtown Darlington.
Thomas said that on Monday, food trucks will be staged around the city for people to enjoy some good food.
He added that locations are to be determined for the event.
"The City of Darlington is super excited to welcome the Food Network for The Great Food Truck Race. The city believes that this is a great opportunity to showcase our town and to spotlight our local businesses downtown. We hope that our residents and visitors from across the Pee Dee area come on out and enjoy some of the best food from around the nation," said Thomas.
