The Turkmen company “Khan Gala” plans to start producing organic vegetables, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
The report further said great help will be provided by bees that will pollinate tomato flowers in the test plot in the greenhouse erected in the Gerogly district of the Dashoguz region of Turkmenistan.
According to experts, the natural pollination of tomato flowers is an effective agronomic method for obtaining high yields, improving the environmental safety of vegetables, which is important in the context of export-oriented production.
In a private greenhouse, hundreds of tons of tomatoes, including the popular cherry variety, will be grown on five hectares of land.
