Products are being recalled by major retailers across the UK following safety concerns.

The affected products, which include a popular brand of drinks, pose a possible health risk to customers.

The health concerns are based on issues relating to plastic, which presents a choking risk.

Customers are advised by the Food Standards Agency to not eat or drink any of the mentioned products - even if they've already bought them.

Instead, the public are advised to return the items to the relevant store in exchange for a full refund.

So which products are currently being recalled by Tesco, Iceland and Costco?

Tesco & Costco

Tesco and Costco are part of a Britvic PLC recall of fruit juice

Tesco is recalling selected Robinson's Fruit Shoot Apple and Blackcurrant bottles, following concerns by producer Britvic PLC.

This action is a precautionary measure following some reports that the spout within the sports bottle cap may become detached unexpectedly.

Such an issue presents a safety risk, as it could lead to consumers choking.

The 200ml product was sold at the supermarket in a 24 multipack, and has the codes: NO5 L9164, NO5 L9171 and NO6 L9171.

The drinks have the best before date of March 2020 and were reportedly sold last month.

The affected product was also sold as a multipack in Costco as well as single bottles at McDonald's - between June 22 and 28.

Iceland

The second recall affects customers at Iceland, which is warning over its 60 Crispy Chicken Dippers, as some packs may contain pieces of hard plastic, making it unsafe to consume.

The affected food has a variety of date codes, and no other Iceland products are known to be affected.
