A taste of the Middle East is heading to Sutton Coldfield with a new Lebanese takeaway set to open.

Prices start from £4.49. With meal deals an extra £1.99 with a drink and skin on fries.

Middle eastern desserts baklawa and home-made kunafa are available for the sweet-toothed, while drinks include fresh orange juice and fresh mint lemonade.

Pitalicious describes itself as: “A traditional Lebanese street food experience with a modern gourmet twist. Our mezze bar is central to our unique concept, allowing you to select from 15 fresh toppings.

“Quick and delicious meals that are good for your health, vegan friendly and tantalising to your taste buds, all at the same time.”

A spokesperson for the owner told BirminghamLive: “Pitalicious is a family-owned business. We have 10 years in the Lebanese food industry, working from traditional recipes passed down through ancestors.

“We wanted to bring something fresh to our local town, Sutton Coldfield, by adding a modern gourmet twist to the food served. It was also important for us to provide vegan options and be health conscious with our menu.

“Having spent months on this, we cannot wait for the launch on Monday, July 15 and hope the locals attend to show support. We are also really proud to be able to provide employment opportunities to Sutton Coldfield.”
