Save the date: open plenary meetings for 2018
EFSA has set dates for the open plenary meetings of its scientific panels and Scientific Committee in 2018. All plenaries will take place in Parma and will be streamed live.
The initiative is part of the Authority’s commitment to be an open science organisation and encourages scientific dialogue with its stakeholders. The response has been positive so far: since March 2012, over 280 observers from industry, academia and civil society have participated in 11 open plenary meetings.
In 2018, EFSA’s Panel on Plant Health will be the first to open its plenary to observers.
