Asia Clean Energy Forum 2025: Empowering the Future - Clean Energy Innovations, Regional Cooperation and Integration, and Financing Solutions

ADB is organizing its annual and flagship event– the Asia Clean Energy Forum (ACEF). The Forum has served as a platform for stakeholders to collaborate, share knowledge, and develop strategies to accelerate the transition to a sustainable and inclusive energy future. This year, ACEF celebrates its 20th edition under the theme “Empowering the Future: Clean Energy Innovations, Regional Cooperation and Integration, and Financing Solutions.” This year’s ACEF will be held at the ADB Headquarters in Manila, Philippines from 2–6 June 2025, and is co-organized with the Korea Energy Agency (KEA).

ACEF 2025 will be held at a pivotal moment where the Asia and Pacific region is at the forefront of the global energy transition, with countries making significant strides in adopting clean energy technologies. The region's energy landscape is characterized by a diverse mix of renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, hydropower, and geothermal. Rapid urbanization, industrialization, and economic growth are driving the demand for energy, necessitating a shift towards sustainable and resilient energy systems.

Objectives

ACEF highlights and delivers practical knowledge, increases awareness, and emphasizes the critical need for collaborative efforts to address the challenges and opportunities in the energy landscape of Asia and the Pacific. ACEF 2025 will be guided by the theme "Empowering the Future: Clean Energy Innovations, Regional Cooperation and Integration, and Financing Solutions." ACEF 2025 aims to deliver practical knowledge, increased awareness, and opportunities for collaboration on promoting clean and efficient energy solutions with a wide range of clean energy practitioners from across Asia and the Pacific.
